Field crops are influenced by several biotic stresses, which have impact on quality and quantity of grain yield. Resistance against pathogens of cereals is very important factor of yield stability. Several agrotechnical methods are used to protect crops against pathogens, but role of genetic resistance is determinative.
We focus on field, molecular and nutritional characterization, selection and breeding of varieties and breeding materials of linseed (flax), millet, legume species (fodder peas, cowpeas, beans, chickpeas).
The most important activity of our group is the development of new technologies for integrated cultivation.
